Today was Emily's baby dedication at church, the day when Mom and Dad publicly dedicated Emily to the Lord and dedicated themselves to raising her according to God's Word. Papi prayed the prayer of dedication over Emily in the last service, and he also introduced her to the church in the earlier services. I guess you could say he's one proud Papi! Papa Jack and Mimi weren't able to be there with us today because Mimi was very sick, but they watched online and prayed for Little Em as Papi prayed over her at church. :) We are so blessed to have such a godly heritage!
Emily's birthday buddy, Rebecca, was also dedicated today with her parents and big brother, Caleb. Not only are we blessed with a godly heritage, but we're also blessed with godly friends! 
A verse Dad and Mom want Emily to keep close to her heart is Zephaniah 3:17 ~ "The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." They pray that Emily will seek the Lord and choose to follow Him, trusting His plan for her life and serving Him wholeheartedly. They also pray that God gives her an unquenchable thirst for His Word and that her relationship with Christ colors every aspect of her life!
