We had such a wonderful time this year celebrating Jesus, our Savior, and the new life He gives to us because of His resurrection!
The week started off with a care package from Papa Jack and Mimi with lots and lots of goodies, including a kit to make flower pot cupcakes!
It also had a super cute Easter onesie for our happy baby ~
Then early Easter morning the kids woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had delivered a basket of goodies to their room, along with a giant stuffed bunny!
Knowing that Emily might be a bit extremely frightened to know that he had been in her room, the Easter Bunny kindly left Em's goodies right outside her bedroom door.
{And, of course, the new bunnies just had to accompany us to church!}
After the joyous, joyous celebration at church ~ He is risen!! ~ we went to Papi and Nana's house for a delicious lunch, more Easter goodies, and an egg hunt!
{Jude and Em had a hard time waiting for lunch and snuck under the coffee table to secretly eat some Hershey kisses while waiting for Papi to get home. Is that a guilty look or what?!}
This was the first year that they really raced to find the eggs, and it was so cute to see them running all over the yard scouring for the little pastel ovals.
Ben, however, was perfectly content to hang out in the shade in his Nana's arms. Pretty sure Nana was perfectly content with that as well!
We didn't manage to get a family photo this year, but Papi and Nana snuck one in after the hunt. I was just happy that we all made it to church {the first week back for me and Benjamin}, we all had clean Easter outfits, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with my sweet in-laws. A perfect Easter in my book!
